Divine provision and increase can come, and lack can go, in several ways: speaking and acting on the word, sowing and reaping, and obeying a word sent from the Lord for a specific situation from the Lord.
Luke 17:6 (NKJV) - So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.”
You don’t have to be an expert. Just start speaking to lack. It worked on an unwanted tree and will work on your finances. Talk to the roots of lack and fear, pull them up and put them in the sea. They will obey you. Don’t tolerate either one! Remove them from your thinking and speaking. Confession: I have faith now, and I prepare for the demonstration of increase in my life. I sow and reap.
God sent an answer by His anointed servant to a widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7 (NKJV) - A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” 2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” 3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels and set aside the full ones.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”
The creditors were going to take her own flesh and blood and make them slaves. A most desperate situation, her husband is dead and now her family is about to be divided. Thank God for Elisha being in the right place at the right time, delivering the divine answer. She moved on His word, by faith, with what she had in her house and without complaining. It takes faith to overcome the fear of lack!
Elisha is planning on a full supply because he told her to not get just a few vessels. By faith, he could see what she could not see. He was teaching her faith while God’s divine answer of abundance manifested. Can you imagine the excitement on her face as every vessel they handed her filled up even when it looked hopeless? Maybe you have been looking only to the natural to remedy your financial situation. My friend, God has a supernatural solution for your situation. It is called divine increase. He has a plan built and divinely designed for you. You can find it only in Him and His word!
